Yeah sadly most modern games now have those checkboxes to worry about even if the devs are against it...that's why I think older fans appreciate the classic collections of these IP's/games coming out daily now. At least the modern day studios can't mess with those, although Tomb Raider was an exception from what I've read.

Yeah, and I never really understand why. They brought in a character that's just identical to their flagship character and that outsold him for a long time. That would be like if Marvel bought the rights to a character that did all the same things Spider-Man did but went by a different name.
