Sasuke trained for years and traveled through multiple planets searching for clues about why kaguya was preparing a army. He knows how powerful she is so it is mysterious to him. He is a piccolo type character with a cape that is always training in the wilderness.

It takes a lot of chakra just to open portals from one of kaguya worlds to another. Sasuke practicing this for years and getting better at fighting only increased his attack potency and speed. Not decrease.
