Also interesting to note how strong Donald and Rick's robot bodies are, with Rick being able to shield William from falling debris, without taking any injury and then lift a huge slab of a building off of them both. With Donald able to be in the field and apparently able to fight one of the Invincible's...or maybe he did just get squashed, still though he did say he'd be more help out there in the field. So this suggests and shows that those robot bodies are pretty durable and strong, as they were stated to be.

Actually just recalled the Pentagon with Flaxan Mark, given how damaged Donald looked , seems likely to show he took a beating as well there showing some good durability.

In the Brit comics Donald was very durable too. I mean he and Brit kill a Evil mark by themselves, and Donald with Brit, tech Jacket, Immortal, and Invincible tank the Omega Jacket country wiping attacks.

the season 3 finale will be hype

10/10 episode! What a thrilling hour long ride that was. This episode is up there with S1E8 that's for damn sure.

Also RIP to Burger Mart. Now where will the Season teasers take place?! Unless they'll do it while reconstructing, that'd be humorous.

Still sucks this is gonna be the last episode for this Season coming up. Ah well....S4 should be good though!

God, I love the the monologue they gave Conquest in the show. It would have been cringy for anyone else but the delivery was chef's kiss.

This might have topped the season 1 finale for me. It was by far the best-animated episode of the series and it isn't even close, and the additions they added to Conquest, as well as extending the Eve section of the fight were all excellently done and performed.

This season was better than season 2, and I would say just as good if not better than season 1 as well. The only episode that lulled along was episode 5, and even that was still a decent episode.

So great episode and now full context and everything, I dig Conquest voice. Only thing that sucks....is waiting for the next Season.

Train Scene 2: Shock Wave Malibu was a fun little addition. Conquest just had to telegraph it.

Frankly, there were a lot of callbacks to Season 1 Episode 8, grinding in the fact that Mark was outclassed here.

Conquest's treatment of Oliver was amazing, particularly that first bounce off the pavement, but also just in how they structured the "Oliver tries to chase after them, and can't even keep up with them."

And oh god, Conquest slowly moving into a run then tackling early on, before one of the better action scenes? Oh, that felt good.

Damn good execution overall. Helluva fight. Eve even got her moment in the sun before she was Icarus'd all over the floor. Then she became the sun. Kinky. I really hope all the weird scaling folks remember that Conquest ripped her armor off almost delicately (without hurting her) before he Conquested her face and stomach. He was clearly still playing with his food, which fits everything else we've seen about the character.

I wouldn't have minded the Monster Girl/Robot gag of covering eyes at Eve. They set up the joke, and didn't really show much beyond Cecil's reaction, i think, which feels like a shame. No, I'm not talking about Eve, I'm talking about the full cast. They're almost all literally frozen.

It's been ages since I read invincible. Someone spoil me on what's going on with the Damien Darkblood storyline. For the life of my I can't remember anything like this happening in the comics

@killianduclark: That’s all new to the show. Darkblood was basically a joke character in the comics.

Btw it's something Kirkman wanted to do in the comic but couldn't due to constraints. He's talked about it a few times. I'm intrigued on what they're planning here. If they somehow change up Conquest's escape it'll be interesting, since I assume Darkblood and Bruce Campbell were referring to him?

Curious to what Darkblood is going to be up to...

Best Episode ever for sure. Eve also got way more time to shine. Conquest was insane perfect monologuing.

Yeah about that, Kirkmen has to allow the mental blocks. He stated Eve is the strongest being in the universe and no mental blocks means no plot or story as she solos the verse.

Loved the episode, hated the edge lordness convo towards the end from conquest. They were trying to humanize him for his actions and show just how "insane" he is but i think up until that point he was doing that just fine. Otherwise great episode

Also just curious i have seen in the comments that people wanted omni man to show up to save Mark, not knowing Eve's true power, had Omni man shown up though do u think Omni man would of saved mark or Conquest would of been straight serious and one shotted mark and then fought omni man full force?

Where was this stated? And was he referring to the comics version, or the animated version?

The season was pretty good. It was a slow start but the last 3 episodes were phenomenal.

I have seen people saying Conquest is moon-busting level, but what is that based on? Did he bust a moon in the comics or is it via scaling?

Its base on scaling, statements in comic and show, word of god on the comic versions, and feats done by Mark or Omni Man.

Yes and no. Im looking at both and what Kirkmen written and shown for both. While both are different they are also very similar in story beats and events. Both written by same writer. They both support the other in many ways. Like a event in the comic given more context in the show. Things in the show backed by what was in the comic.

I honestly treat the Comic and Show same as a Manga and Anime. But thats me.

@geekryan: That's because he never said that verbatim. I said that. The important parts are the quotes where she trumps Mark according to Kirkmen, and how her powers exceed his ability as a writer. I made the conclusion she is the strongest in the Invincible universe. Base on what he said and scale her above. I didnt mean he quoted that. I didn't mean to confuse ya.

Gotcha. I don't disagree, she seems to have the potential to be the most powerful, though I can't speak for the comics.

@toxin45: yeah kirkmen said he wanted to do the hell plotline in the comics but never had the time/place 4 it in the book hopefully they can tie it back to wolfman or something
