I think Zayn is the cause of most of the jokes. Which is fair because they are both often written as jokes. But Zayn in particular like, when he becomes water in a bucket and gets carried by Jayna. Or the limits they have like needing to touch before changing. (Altho the writers play fast and loose with those rules).
I think the most respect given to Zayn is when he becomes a giant snow/ice monster or becomes a tsunami wave. Alot of the "Supers" can deal with that tho. So still not alot of respect given.
But Zayn could altho I don't think he ever has. Basically mimic the invisible man with the huge added bonus of not making any noise. (In his gas form) And an additional huge bonus of being extremely hot or extremely cold. So imagine his opponent getting choked out and burned at the same time and his enemy can't see or hear anything.
So even without the sometime extra abilities of becoming non-water ex: acid or being able to change form with out touching his sister. Zayn can absolutely take out some heavy hitters, because they won't see or hear him till it's too late.
he deservers some RESPECT.
