Just finished the first episode and it was lit. Main character is cool when he's in costume. Kinda still growing on me when he's irl. Damn, that ending was 🍸👌

I just hope it does the comic justice

Couple of things. I didn't liked the fact that they didn't revealed Omni-Man's origin sooner. Although they have released only three episodes for this show so there is more to come. Simmons as Omni-Man cast isn't really intimidating.

Episode 2 reaction: the end was amazing.

Episode 3: the social commentary was as subtle as a chainsaw through a unicorn. Prison break was hilarious. Probably the most meh episode. Kinda hilarious that the Robot finally snapped.

Cool. Didn't watch it last night due to Falling asleep after Falcon and WS. Will watch later.

@heatforce: Finally? It's concerning that Robot ALREADY snapped, in the comics he didn't snap until late in the series and we actually see why.

Oh do tell. I haven't read the series. From my perspective I thought they have done pretty well with Robot. Robot seems like he wants to do the right thing but he keeps being belittled by those who are supposed to be his allies and protect. I imagine he's similar to Robotman i.e. was once a human but due to a tragedy was made into a machine.

@mrmonster: So far so good, seeing the Guardians not being fodder to Omni-Man is an improvement from the comic.

@ghostodoofus2: I agree. I think it's much better that in the show, he actually struggled to beat them instead of it just being a small inconvenience.

Just watched episode 1. I really enjoyed it, the opening fight scene with the Guardians of the Globe was awesome!

I wonder if the show will be as gory and graphic as the comic.

Edit: Just watched the ending scene with Omni-Man and the GotG. I stopped after the end scene with Invincible informing that villain of his name. Holy shit! I wasn't expecting that.

@skywalker95: Never turn it off when the credits begin with this show. Every episode has at least one post-credits scene.

Its ok for now but it has potential.

-Doc seismic is already one of my favorite villains in the series lol.

- I'm 50/50 on omniman, I don't like him but I don't hate him yet, I'm very curious as to why he did what he did, I'll wait till then to decide . Him destroying that planet was satisfying tho. I hated those flaxans or whatever they're called.

- I like debbie, she's patient and understanding from what I've seen so far. Top 3 favorite characters for now.

-Damn the girls in the show are horny af lmfao. The boys are trash lol. Will is the only superior one and that's facts. I'm actually hoping they don't have unnecessary relationship drama, I don't want that.

I actually liked the guardians of the globe, omg when I remembered one had a small girl at home to go to, I broke down 😭.

What the hell is going on with that robot?

I never read Invincible but I am loving this series.

Yeah, I thought the episode was finished after that Invincible reveal moment and the rest afterwards was just segments of the GotG and what they did in their normal lives. I just muted it and browsed the internet. Next thing I see is a full blown fight and I Immediately turned my attention to it, rewinding it. I thought it was a training exercise at first set by Omni-Man, but when he crushed Red Rush's head, with his eye popping out, my jaw dropped! Then I stared at the screen for a full minute after he slaughtered the entire team.

I'll definitely make sure to watch until the complete end, thanks. Did you do the same thing or knew that was gonna happen?

@mrmonster: only reason they actually messed him up was because of red rush. That guy saved almost all of them from getting their heads knocked off like 3 times.

No, I was just too slow to exit out of that tab and before I had the chance, the end credits scene had begun. I did intentionally wait for the ones in episode 2 and 3 though, I figured if it happened once it could happen again.

I binged all the three the night of release. I did not expect it to capture me as much as it did, the premise is generic in a general sense but the characters make the world so rich.

I liked it so much I almost considered just diving into the comics but idk, I feel like since I already started the show I might as well finish it and just read Volume 2 before Season 2.

Just finished the 3rd episode. It's pretty decent so far. I like the style - feels like a mix between Spider-Man and The Boys. And the set-up is interesting. Not sure what to predict yet.

Yeah, Red Rush did bail some them out a couple times. Still a great scene though.

Love it so far and I liked the comics too. Omni-Man is pretty OP for a TV show version.

A bit late but just finished episode 2. It was awesome, even better than the first. Omni-Man is one sick, twisted, evil mofo. That was savage when he slaughtered all of those Flaxans on their homeworld. And then the way he forced all those scientists to create a portal for him to return home, followed by dropping that giant rock on them. Brutal! He makes Homelander look like the nicest person in the world in comparison. JK Simmons is killing the voice role. I couldn't believe it's him voicing it.

The scene with Invincible fighting that alien followed by them chatting afterwards on the moon was funny. I'm guessing that alien will be an ally to Mark in the future.

Also, I'm loving that Hellboy looking dude. I'm glad Clancy Brown is voicing him, one of my all time favourite voice actors.

Gonna watch episode 3 now.

My one complaint about the show is that there aren't already 10 seasons of it haha can't wait for more, recently orded the 3 omnibus collections not sure why I didn't collect them sooner its always been one of my highest rated comic stories

Another great episode. I especially loved all the great plot threads that I'm sure the show will expand on, like the mummy and the Martian parasites.

Omni-Man is so great at pretending to be a father that I legitimately sometimes forget that he's the one who killed the Guardians.

Episode 5 was the best by far. Poor Black Sampson and Monster Girl. I thought Omni-Man would save Mark when he was getting the shit knocked out of him by Battle Beast, but damn he just watched. That was cold.

Finished the first 2 episodes, loving it so far. Ep 1 ending was breathtaking.

Will catch up on the rest tomorrow, I have high hopes for this show.
