Steppenwolf was taking hits from superman who is well above rulk, matching dianas speed at times, overpiwering ww and aquaman, fighting 3 members of the jl.. Chop, chop. Steppenwolf stomps, rulk can't do anything to him.

Sokovia explosion was a joke and Vibranium didn’t tank that explosion it was blown apart.
A weakened Superman survived a 475kt Nuke which is tiers above the sokovia explosion and not just cause of the blunt force the epicenter of a nuke gets hotter than the sun all of this plays a factor.
Sokovia was only stated to be 1.5 miles and a 12kt nuke has a blast radius of 5-8miles and that’s not even including the heat that is generated so in no way possible is the sokovia explosion more dangerous than a nuke

I disagree with you otherwise, though. Wolf is going to roll Red Hulk. Sam was able to KO him.
There's a difference between the strength applied in grip/pulling, and the one applied to striking. He never tried to crush/rip apart the shield so this point is moot. He also visibly got stronger as he got angrier. He got marks from handguns when he first turned and later was no selling high caliber rounds and even bullets to the eyes.

Wolf is faster, stronger and more skillful due to feats and scaling gained battling the combined efforts of the jl. There is nothing rulk can so to counter these facts. He gets one-shot with the electro-axe, with a jump and smash. I'm glad everyone is realising vibrainum isn't that impressive when it comes to high tiers like thanos, wonder woman etc.
Note: I had to click next to the places to keep them labeled on the map... so im sure you can be more exacting... but about a 1km jump..... also natal he busts part of building with shockwave jump, and busts part of Washington monument slowing himself down on landing.
