Strength

Does a 5-ring leg swing that creates a shockwave and cracks the ground beneath them

Uses 5 rings like a whip and shakes the ground with each clash against Wenwu

Prevents the Dweller in Darkness from pulling his sister away with one arm

Fires all ten rings into the DND's mouth creating a large shockwave

Spins and charges the Ten Rings inside DND's chest and creates a gigantic explosion that blows DND into small chunks and vaporizes his minions. It was also strong enough to be felt throughout the universe and create a pulse in the timeline (Confirmed on screen)

Durability

Wenwu blocks his leg a pushes him and the rings away, creating a shockwave in the process

Tanks all 5 rings to chest and creates a huge shockwave that sends him flying into the ground and creating another shockwave. (he gets back up with control over all 10 rings)

Speed

Dodges the 5 rings flying up from underground

Agility

Uses the ten rings as platforms and also uses them to swing up as he makes his way to the mouth of DND

Feats with Ta Lo Powers Only

Strength

Bats away all ten rings with his Dragon Scale staff

Sends Wenwu flying backwards with a kick

Kicked in the face by Wenwu

Sent flying back from a Ten Ring push from Wenwu that creates a shockwave and tanks it

Takes a 5 ring elbow to the face that creates a shockwave, then gets punched in the chest hard enough to send him flying off screen

Gets hit in the stomach with 5 rings, then gets punched hard enough to create a shockwave that sends him flying in the distance.

Speed

Guides the 5 rings that Wenwu threw at him around his body

like Shang chi struck him with the staff it put him down for a little depowered hela hurt him by slamming him on a table etc

@darkphantom9895: It's a dragon scale staff and their weapons were able to kill an intangible creature. I think it's safe to say it's magical since it could also harm the Dweller in Darkness. You can see it glow when strikes people.

Also that showing with hela doesn't compare to all of his other durability feats which are better. One bad showing doesn't discard every other. Plus in the same episode he was taking hits from Odin. I'd say it's actually good.

He should also scale to Shang Chi's durability feats when they both have 5 rings

pretty sure dragon scale is durability not ap as it’s just stated to protect agains untold mystical threats and it’s still cap by the guy swinging it so Shang chi who isn’t the level of the ten rings

did he ? I thought he blocked everything with the rings I still think his durability might be increased but not = to his strength like wasn’t he even blocking arrows at the beginning of the film

In the movie both Shang and his dad take hits from the rings.. and his dad punches that mountain with his fist. .. looks like above human dura to me.

Second Comment: if you look at the section with the Ten rings. Wewu would scale to the last durability feat. That's the most we could say since Shang Chi only had 5 rings and again, he also took energy and physical attacks from Odin who was to crush Mjolnir.

The arrows feat is also a combat speed feat. It is true it could imply it could hurt him but we could also argue it was to protect his horse and it look cooler.

Plus if we go by MCU logic and standard? We have feats of Thor dodging a part of a plane by sliding(when fighting Hulk) and blocking Chitauri shots(with Steve, before he throw away a car) in Avengers 1. So would the wing plane or blasts hurt and kill Thor?

@justneedhelp: should we add that dragon armors/weapons and Ta Lo magic bestowed the strength to combat threats of untold mystical power? Which explained Shang chi being able to block and deflect the rings.

And that Wenwu mentioned Ta Lo people practice a martial arts style from the gods= Ta Lo magic. (This is odd that he said gods when the only “ god“ we saw is the great protector though). Yeah I reminder also responding that same things for your Ying li threat.

I don’t think Wenwu got hurt. It was supposed to be funny. Have you seen and do you remember how Thor got his face slapped by extremely weak human Jane in Dark World?

Yeah it is called outliers or low showing feats. Everyone has it. From Spidey to Hulk and Thor. Remind viewers that Thor has his famous ball k.o and “deadly electric tech” feats in Ragnarok.

But Yes, I understand why for some it is hard to gauge if the Rings users can walk it off just fine against multiples pound punch, a la Ironman vs Hulk”go to sleep, got to sleep“. Or when Hulk did the same to Thor in the arena before awakening. Since they haven’t shown having “those kind of feats” yet.

We have to wait and see if Shang chi gets more insane and “obvious” durability feats later on. Even if he did, we could probably attribute it all to his dragon scale armor mystical protection anyway. We really need to wait and see.

But so far, it is fair to said that when Wenwu punched the mountain dragon gates scales, we got Newton's Third Law, that every single action has an equal and opposite reaction. Meaning, if you punch with X AP, your body must be strong enough to withstand the recoil of said punch and to not shatter completely.

I am with you on that actually @death4bunnies but apparently some people want to see Shang chi getting "his head" pound punch by Ironman, Hulk or Thor to see if he could walk it off fine against them. One thing for sure Shang chi tanks just fine super soldier punches and feats. All the Rings users feats are way above SSS. And it is obvious for me that The Rings users are pretty much like Gorr when he is holding the Necrosword.

We have to wait and see if Shang chi “even” gets more durability feats later on. Even if he did, (probably for some) they would probably attribute it all to his dragon scale armor mystical protection or the parts covered by the Rings. It would really be depending of how his fights choreography against the “ others” are going to look like.

Anyway it is obviously that the dragon scales armor protected magically the uncovered members of Shang chi or else he would have been decapitated, his arms, legs and head during the Wenwu split lac punch feat.

I'll have to try and find the scenes and add them. Thank you for reminding me about those statements.

Also, people like to say that Shang's airbending only works in Ta Lo, but we literally see Shang's mother use it in China at the start of the film, and Hela uses it in China in What If. Just thought I'd point that out.
