In summary, the eclipsed celestial spirits want to become free and think that doing a ritual known as Liberum will allow them to break free from their "chains" towards celestial spirit mages. To perform Liberum, they need to use an object called the Celestial Globe. In this arc, we see that the Celestial Globe releases a red light which reaches star constellations in a very short time frame and we even see it reach celestial spirits who were in another dimension.

A few episodes later, they dispel the ritual and the constellations which were shining red are now shining normally again.

The red light had to have travelled light years in a few seconds for this to happen.
