Finally, after so long, another RT for a character that I personally love. Pls, respect Mandalore the Ultimate, the greatest Mandalorian of the Old Republic era

No Caption Provided

Accolades

Canderous Ordo believes that Mandalore and Revan are the only 2 people that can defeat him:

Ha! I was the best! Except for Mandalore of course. He was the only person alive except Revan who could have beat me."

Taken from KOTOR 2

This is extremely impressive given Canderous's own skillset

Mandalore fought valiantly against Revan:

...Though the Mandalorian fought valiantly, in the end he was no match for the Jedi Order's most powerful champion.

Source: Star Wars The Old Republic - Revan

Canderous again stated that Mandalore is the best of the Mandalorians

"Mandalore himself was killed at the hands of the Jedi Revan. The best of us could not defeat him!"

Source: Canderous Ordo, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

Mandalore is the best of the ancient Mandalorians:

> "Of the ancient Mandalores, we hold none in higher esteem than Mandalore the Ultimate, the Great Shadow Father of our clans."

Source: Tor Vizsla, Star Wars The Bounty Hunter Code

This will not only scale him above Canderous, but also Mandalore the Indomitable, who is also quite impressive (expect an RT about him soon)

As the Mandalore, he is the greatest of the clans:

> "Mandalore: the title reserved for the greatest warrior in the galaxy, a warrior worthy to lead the Mandalorians."

Source: Gnost-Dural, Star Wars The Old Republic - Galactic Timeline 3

> "The Mandalorians would accept only a truly exceptional warrior and battlefield commander as their leader, so anyone seeking the title must have a proven history of victories and a definitive plan for new conquests to unite the Mandalorian clans."

Source: Tor Vizsla, Star Wars The Bounty Hunter Code

Mandalore the Ultimate is physically imposing and fights as much as he rules

"Physically imposing, he was no stranger to fighting, participating in battles just as commonly as he ruled"

Taken from KOTOR Campaign guide

As Mandalore, MtU is the ultimate warrior:

"The Mandalorians have no use for senates, councils, or Emperors. Only the mightiest of warriors is fit to lead a culture devoted entirely to battle."

Taken from SWTOR encyclopedia

Physical capabilities:

As a Taung, Mandalore is fit for combat:

"The Ancient predecessors of the Mandalorians is known as the Taung... They are no less warlike than their descendents."

Taken from SWTOR Encyclopedia

According to the Insider article The History of the Mandalorians and the guidebook Galaxy at war, Mandalore's stats are 6'5, 209 pounds, so he should be in perfect shape

The Taung was also stated as a warrior species by the Complete Star Wars encyclopedia

He also has speed 6 squares:

Training and special skills

No Caption Provided

Mandalore's special skills includes:

Born Leader

Armored defenses, Assault Tactics

Distant command

Training / abilities

Mandalore has basic Mandalorian training and also Martial Arts trining. He also received skill training

Mandalore is profficient in advanced melee weapons, pistols, rifles, and simple weapons

Mandalorian training is quite impressive and efficient:

No Caption Provided

Taken from threats of the Galaxy

In Mandalorian tradition, a large emphasis on fighting revolves around body language and unpredictability. To quote Boba Fett,"Winning isn't about being better. It's finding your opponent's weakness and exploiting it."

Combat abilities

Mandalore only has 1 sole feat here, but he also has some scalings over other characters.

Firstly, his sole feat is one-shotting Alek, which is actually quite impressive:

No Caption Provided
No Caption Provided

This is extremely impressive because Alek himself is very impressive:

"Foremost among the heroes of this era were the Jedi warriors Malak and Revan... Though only a young man, his skill in battle and prowess with the lightsaber had already earned him renown within the Order. Given his abilities, and his arrogance, it was only natural that he should ignore the warnings of his Master and join the Republic fleet in its battle against the Mandalorian raiders on the Outer Rim."

―Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Prima Guide

"Four millennia before the man called Palpatine became Emperor, Malak shone brightly as one of the greatest Jedi heroes. "

―Wizards of the Coast: Darth Malak

"Our heroes had become brutal, conquering Sith, and we were all helpless before them. Think about it, if you can't even trust the best of the Jedi, who can you trust?'

―Carth Onasi (Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic)

"Malak gained a reputation as a headstrong warrior who would recklessly charge into danger. Malak's former Masters were well aware of this impetuousness during his days at the training academy on Dantooine."

―Star Wars Databanks: Darth Malak

So yes, Mandalore is very impressive there

Not to mention, directly scaling from Canderous, one of the most skilled Mandalorians ever and Mandalore the Indomitable (I will make an RT for him as a supplementary for this one).

Equipments

Cortosis Mythosaur Axe

While the Axe is ceremonial, Mandalore can wield it pretty well if he wants to.

He owns the axe made out of cortosis:

Cortosis is one of the hardest material in the galaxy:

"Cortosis: One of the hardest material in the galaxy."

Taken from Darth Bane POD

It also has an unique effect on lightsabers:

No Caption Provided

This should make him a very dangerous opponent for Jedi / Sith

The weapon also delivers an electric charge:

"Infused with Cortosis and other materials, it (the Mythosaur axe) is capable of delivering an electric charge."

Taken from KOTOR Campaign guide

Heavy repeating Blaster Rifle:

Aside from the Mythosaur Axe, Mandalore also utilizes a Heavy repeating Blaster Rifle:

But he not only owns it, but is extremely proficient with it.

He has several unique abilities that focuses around the Heavy Assault Rifle

Armor:

His armor is made out of Beskar, as according to the SWTOR Encyclopedia

It also gives him additional defenses:

No Caption Provided

So yes, his armor is also quite profficient

Bastilik War Droid

Mandalore also owns a War Droid:

No Caption Provided

https://comicvine.gamespot.com/profile/darthor/blog/basilisk-war-droid-overview/163149/

This will show how impressive War Droids are

Mandalore is a master at the use of a War Droid:

"A weapons master, he was the fastest Mandalorian to ever perfect the use of the Basilisk war droids."

Taken from KOTOR

Author's note, the last quote came from Wookiepedia, but it was cited to KOTOR so I took it, but do take it with a grain of salt

And thats that. I hope you enjoyed this and now respect MtU!

Granted its been a while since i read the Kotor comics, but i never got the impression that MTU had enough feats to warrant a RT, besides wrecking Alek.

His only COMBAT feat is wrecking Alek, but he has plenty of scaling over impressive characters such as Mandalore the Indomitable or Canderous to write an RT.

Well done man. Really builds up his image as the "ultimate" Mandalorian, and I also appreciate how you measured the Taung as a species. Hopefully one day we can see this guy in action.

Just a question, do you think you'll make RT for Rohlan Dyre or Demagol in the future?

quite possibly. I mean I am having an Mandalore the Indomitable RT and a Basilisk War Droid Overview first, and then I'm gonna create more RTs for more Mandalorians in the SWTOR era.

The scaling over Mandalore the Indomitable is extremely impressive, considering the guy was stated to be more technically skilled than Ulic Qel Droma:

The same guy who fought Exar Kun to a standstill. Granted, both were pre-prime, but still, damn.

@the_wspanialy: I wouldn't say that, Indominatable had the fight essentially rig in his favor and he still lost, he hardly was more skilled than Ulic considering he got beaten within one strike by Ulic using a weapon of Mandalorian design.

You wouldn't say the scan says what it says?

Not really. The scan makes it very clear that the Basilisk was of no consequence, and Ulic being placed on a chain is hardly a disadvantage considering the supernatural equilibrium and adhesivity provided by the Force. And Ulic held a massive edge in weaponry.

Except Ulic's victory had nothing to do with him being more skilled:

No Caption Provided

He charged Indomitable with a Basilisk and attacked with his axe, Indomitable blocked it, but ended up overpowered and fell to the ground.

Funnily enough, it was Indomitable who landed the only actual hit in the fight:

@the_wspanialy: Indomitable only got that hit in because Ulic wasn’t on guard as he was preparing to use another weapon. Seemed like a cheap shot to me. Mandalore still had to use those advantages even if they were meaningless to try and get an edge, he didn’t really fight on an equal playing field. He calls Ulic fighting unfairly yet uses basically a whole armored vehicle against him and has rules to try and make things in his favor from the start.

Also Ulic got a hit in too, two if you count that he throws Mandalore.

There's no indication of Ulic being off guard. Neither he nor the narrator suggests anything of the sort.

If anything, Indomitable was at a disadvantage at that moment since, unlike Ulic, he didn't have Force-based equilibrium and adhesivity.

@wolfrazer said:

Of course, he had. At the end of the day, he's only a skilled warrior armed with primitive melee weapons. Ulic is, on top of being a skilled warrior in his own right, an uber-powerful space wizard armed with a laser sword. None of this makes Ulic a more technically skilled fighter.

@wolfrazer said:

???

No, he didn't. Disabling the Basilisk is not a body hit. Neither is slamming Indomitable's axe hard enough to cause him to fall off the cliff. And that was achieved with the help of a Basilisk he took from that random Mando, meaning he had a substantial advantage. He also technically broke the rules of engagement, since he was not allowed any mount.

And Ulic didn't throw Indomitable, he threw "a hapless Mandalorian warrior who has drifted too close to the battlefield".

Yeah that feels consistent with him one-shotting Alek who's definitely up there as the greatest Jedi of the time. I don't think Indomitable is with Ulic necessarily but his technical skill is probably there somewhere.

This is super outdated btw but I no longer have the interest necessary to update it.

Fodderizing Jedi Malak also grants Ultimate scaling over other notable Jedi of the era, such as Lucien Draay, Celeste Morne, and even Grand Master Nomi Sunrider, all of them having solid feats and/or accolades to their name.
