I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but seeing as my errors occurred resulting from my editing attempts, I couldn't think of another place to post this (except perhaps "off topic?").
Anyway, I mistakenly ass-u-med that this site was meant to be used as a place to find not only the comic books themselves, but the characters as well. Mind you, that is OBVIOUSLY a main purpose, but my error occurred when I thought it should not include character appearances in ads and/or public service announcements & the like.
I found this out the hard way after moderators denied the edits.
So, not only am I apologizing to the moderators for wasting their time, but I'm also apologizing to those that originally edited the pages to include the above-mentioned appearances.
Henceforth, I will not attempt to edit out character appearances in ads & such.
