Combining currently separate books into one series - Courtney Crumrin

Hi, I'm new to Comic Vine, but have been using the data to sort my electronic comic books.

I came across something that seemed odd and may need to be corrected.

There is a series of comic books by Oni Press called Courtney Crumrin. Collected versions of these have been published as a series of 7 volumes.

Currently each volume is shown as a separate series. I would instead expect these to be a single series with Volume 1 being Issue 1, Volume 2 being Issue 2, etc. in the same way as, for example Judge Dredd, The Complete Case Files https://comicvine.gamespot.com/judge-dredd-the-complete-case-files/4050-19995/

Or am I missing a reason why these would be kept separate?

@bryces: It is because of the indicia. If we have name like "Name vol 1: Subname" then we collect them to one volume, but if it is just "Name: Subname" then they are separate volumes.

In this specific case the volumes actually need to be renamed a little if they all use naming convention like the one I found. I'll do more digging on each volume.

If it helps, I have the indicia from each of the 7 volumes. These are from the electronic versions of the books (bought through Humble Bundle). I note that the image in your post appears to be of a physical book which has different dates to the electronic versions. If there is any more information I can provide, please let me know.

Yeah that would help, I only managed to find vol 1, 5 and 7.
