Vhipara emerged from the darkness of her egg to the sounds of battle. It was sound and fury and fire all around. Even though she’d never met him, she knew instinctively the large green dragon chomping into the dwarf was her father, and the serpentine creature gleefully constricting the elven wizard to death was her mother.

“RUN!” yelled her mother across the battlefield. Vhipara bolted for safety but there was nowhere safe to go as the eight or so adventurers were laying into anything and everyone in this dungeon with steel and sorcery.

“What is that?’ asked a snively little goblin.

“Let’s keep it!” cheered the large grey skinned woman with a mallet beside her, and soon all that Vhipara knew was again darkness.

She awoke in chains and from there spent several years as a pet, an oddity to be gawked at. Her scales were a lovely mix of serpent and dragon with a lovely emerald sheen. Her eyes never blinked which allowed her to see an opportunity one night when her captors slept to escape. Vhipara grabbed some of their equipment and ran for her life. She managed to make it back to a small town, which due to her complexion it wasn’t the most welcoming. From there she trekked to a large seaport, Niuqash, and fell in with the criminal element mainly to survive, but also to hide away from prying eyes which was slightly easy for her thanks to innate invisibility.

On several occasions she’d end up with random spell pages whilst thieving which over time built up to a hefty spellbook, which in turn led her down a magical pathway to supplement her criminal ways. Most of her spells are random and hodgepodge. Magic came naturally to her, but the study part not so much.

Vhipara scouts the bars of Niuqash looking for the band of adventurers who tore her from her home and keeps her ears open for news about green dragons, and snake people.

I had a farmer who sold his farm to help out a friend, and with what was left, was convinced to become an adventurer. So he's a calm old feller who smokes from a pipe and will talk for days about how to properly plough a field in that even, ramble-y way that most country folk talk in.

Highlight was that he accidentally wooed a princess for being just an honest guy.
