Kubo himself said they can copy 100% of the opponents power. This isn’t some cosmic entity with higher dimensional existence that they can’t fathom, it’s a robot with a humanoid body. Yhwach is far, far beyond them both and they could still copy him.

Meta-Cooler could have also nuked the planet and killed Goku and Vegeta too, Cooler and Frieza both waited until SSJ Goku was fisting him until he decided to do the same.

@ninjarizer: Meta-Cooler would use Rebirth which repairs his body and increasing his defense through the Big Gete Star. I don't think they would have access to that.
